Hi, I’m Gabbie, owner and founder of A Girl’s Best Friend.

After spending over 8 years working within the beauty industry, I decided it was time for a change. It was when I got my beloved English Bulldog, Diego, that I realised the demands of my busy working life no longer aligned with the lifestyle I wanted. Having steadily built my client base, expanded my knowledge and developed my expertise, I took the plunge and became my own boss – gulp!

A Girl’s Best Friend was born in February 2018, and I’ve never looked back.

The business began as a mobile service, allowing me to bring professional treatments directly to my clients. As demand grew, I opened my first permanent premises in Haverhill in 2020, whilst continuing to offer selected mobile appointments. Since then, the business has evolved into the welcoming, award-winning studio it is today, complete with its own frontage and reception area designed with client comfort and relaxation in mind.

My experience across a variety of environments – from luxurious five-star spas to busy high-street salons and everything in between – has given me a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. I’ve combined the very best elements of each to create a space where professional expertise, results-driven treatments and exceptional client care come together.

I am passionate about continuous professional development and regularly invest in advanced training, new technologies and industry-leading education. This allows me to provide safe, effective and up-to-date treatments whilst remaining fully compliant with current industry standards, regulations and best practices.

A Girl’s Best Friend is also proud to be a Map My Mole Clinic and MASCED Accredited practitioner, supporting clients with skin awareness and providing access to dermatologist-led mole screening services.
